Answer sheet Of passage Narration

1. Zamin asked me if I had finished reading the book he had given me the previous day. I replied in the affirmative that I had finished reading the book. I exclaimed with joy that it was a very interesting book and added that I wished I would borrow the boor earlier. He asked me if I would return the book to him.
2. Shafat asked Lucy if she liked democracy or socialism. Lucy answered that she liked both the concepts. Shafat again asked how it was that she liked both the concepts. He added that people advocate either of the two. Lucy argued that when she spoke well of both she counted their good points which were in her opinion necessary to the growth of mixed economy in a country.
3. He said to me that he had come to Dhaka that morning. He again said that he had sent me a telegram before starting from home. He also asked if I had received it in time.
4. Once I asked a little sweet girl what her mother’s was. She replied cleverly that she knew her mother’s name but she would not tell me that. I exclaimed with wonder that she was a very clever girl.
5. Dabir asked Monika how she was. Monika replied that she was not in hilarious spirits. Dabir also asked if it was Pintu again. She sighed and replied in the affirmative that it was Pintu.                                         Dabir further asked why she did not chuck him (P).  He added that she had everything in the world for him (P). He also said that she had to know by then that she was quite hopeless.
6. The old man told his sons that a great treasure lay hidden in the estate he was about to leave them. The sons asked the old man where it was hidden. The old man replied that he was about to tell them but they had to dig for it.
7. The teacher asked Nasika if she had done her English lesson that day. Nasika replied respectfully in the affirmative and added that she had not understood one grammatical point. The teacher assured her and told her to go to his room and he would help her understand that point. She smilingly thanked the teacher with respect.
8. The boy said to teacher respectfully that he would be much obliged if he would kindly lend him the book he had praised highly in the class room the previous day.                                                                                            The teacher said to the boy that he was very glad to know that he was eager to read that book. The teacher also said that he (B) was welcome to any of his books that he liked.
9. The traveler asked the peasant if he could tell him the way to the nearest inn. The peasant replied in the affirmative and said that he could. He (P) asked the traveler if he wanted one in which he could send the night. The traveler replied that he did not wish to stay there but he only wanted a meal.
12. Addressing Midas as friend, he told him that he (M) was a wealthy man. He also said that he doubted any other four walls on the earth contained so much gold as he had piled up there.
11. Glaring fiercely in their faces he muttered and ordered the dervishes to hold their tongues. He asked them if they had not read the warning on the door. The dervishes cried out in fear that they prayed for Allah’s pardon. They again said that their lives were at his mercy.
15. The dealer said to the customer that he had just one word to say to him. He told him either to make his purchase or walk out of his shop. The customer thanked the dealer. He (C) also said that he was leaving his shop.
16. The teacher wished the students good morning and asked how they were.  Students replied respectfully that they were fine and humbly asked what about him. The teacher replied that he was fine too and requested them to sit down and asked if they prepared their lesson. They respectfully apologized that they had not prepared their lesson .
17. The teacher asked the boy if he knew that honesty is the best policy. The girl respectfully replied in the affirmative that he thought so. Then the teacher advised him to be honest from his childhood. The boy respectfully thanked the teacher. The teacher prayed that Allah might bless him.
18. Shabab asked Labib if he (L) had ever been to Cox’s Bazar. Labib replied in the negative and said that he had never. But Shabab replied that he desired for visiting the place and added that he had had opportunity to visit the sea beach the previous year. Labib proposed that they should go there that week.

20. The girl told the teacher with respect that she would be grateful if he kindly lent her the book he had praised highly in the classroom the previous day. The teacher replied that he had really happy to know that she was eager to read that book and added that she was welcome to any of his books that she liked.
